After having accepted to participate at the Deadpan Exchange II, I have been going though an extremely complicated period of my life.
Having wanted to be an artist, for as long as I can remember, I suddenly find it to be of no importance at all. The field of art production seem insignificant to me.
I look around me and I see a world filled with war, hunger, and need. I see people living in fear of their life, and the lives of their loved ones.
With this perspective, counting the concrete stones at an exhibition place, seem completely irrelevant.
This is why I will not be participating at the event. I apologize for any discomfort this conclusion might cause you.
